PDD reacts to Naseem Bagh appeal
Says no need of another transformer
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Nov 3: Reacting to appeal for installation of another transformer by residents of Naseem Bagh published in City Page Wednesday, the Superintending Engineer, Power Development Department said there was no such need.
“It is hereby clarified that the said colony which has 107 consumers with an aggregate registered load of 75 kW is being supplied through a 400 KVA transformer, which is around five times the registered load. It is as such clear that additional transformer can only facilitate more violation,” the SE said.
“We will appreciate if the consumers of that locality (for that matter any locality) manage power consumption / demand at their level and use the services of PDD genuinely at any time,” he added.
