2 labourers die in Kokernag, Tangmarg
Srinagar, Nov 6: A labourer of Electric department Manzoor Ahmad Wani son of Kamal Wani resident of Sagam who was restoring an electric line at Sagam, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, Islamabad (Anantnag) got seriously injured when a tipper bearing registration number JK03A-8373 hit the electric pole he was working on. The injured was shifted to district hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a labourer namely Abdul Hamid Thoker son of Abdul Aziz Thoker resident of Trangan, Dooru working with MCO Power project at Drung Tangmarg was hit by a shooting stone in head. The labourer died on way to hospital. Police has initiated an inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
