6 bags of poppy straw recovered

Srinagar, Nov 7: Police in the presence of executive magistrate Bijbehara seized six bags of Poppy Straw weighing 125 kilograms from the house of Imtiyaz Ahmad Nahlla alias Ramba of Arwani Bijbehara.
 According to the police, the accused is absconding and it has registered a case.

ILLICIT LIQUOR SEIZED
Police seized 828 bottles of illicit liquor from a load carrier (JK03A-9177) at Vessu Qazigund on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway. The accused however managed to give slip to police and is absconding, it said adding a case had been registered.
