‘Roadmap to provide 50 pc arrears to employees ready’

Jammu, Nov 8: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Monday said the government had formulated a roadmap to provide 50 per cent arrears to its employees. However, he hastened to add that it needed further discussion and interaction with the employees’ leaders in an amicable atmosphere.
 While stressing the need for having such interaction/meetings soon, Omar told the Commissioner/Secretary General Administration Department to arrange the meetings of employees’ union leaders with the Cabinet Sub-Committee looking after 6th Pay Commission benefits to the government employees.
 The various Administrative Secretaries briefed the Chief Minister about certain important issues and the roadmaps prepared to move forward on development front with added force.
