DeM concerned over Aasiya’s health
Srinagar: The Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Wednesday expressed concern over the falling health of its chairperson, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi and activist Sofi Fahmeeda who are lodged in Kot Balwal jail in Jammu.
In a statement, the party’s acting chairperson, Rifat Fatima said the duo had been denied medicare and maintained that if anything untoward happened to them, Government would be responsible for it.
Meanwhile, the statement also condemned the harassment of students and teachers during the Hurriyat’s relaxation today. It also condemned the arrest of youth and teenagers across the Valley.
