Mushtaq vows to take JK Bank to newer heights

This was stated by Chairman and CEO, J&K Bank, Mushtaq Ahmad while delivering his keynote address at a function organised by the J&K Bank Officers’ Association, Kashmir Unit at Bank’s Corporate Office, here. The function was held to welcome and felicitate Mushtaq.
This was his first formal address to the Bank officials after he assumed the charge of CEO, the bank in a statement said.
Mushtaq said customer satisfaction, capacity building, and punctuality of staff would be some of the key areas he would immediately and more closely focus on.
“I have always taken pride in being a respectable member of the JK Bank family,” he said, wishing that he be replaced “after my tenure is over by someone from this family.”
Commissioner Secretary, Finance, Sudhanshu Pandey (IAS), who was also present on the occasion, said the government attached highest importance to the Bank.
He said the Bank had a huge reservoir of talent that needed to be exploited fully so that the Bank took lead over all other such institutions in the region.
President, Officers’ Association Shahzad Teli expressed delight on behalf of all officers and staff of the Bank “on receiving our own family member as chairman and CEO.
