4 MORE BOOKED UNDER PSA

Srinagar, Oct 10:  The state government has booked four more persons under Public Safety Act (PSA) in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
 Talking to Greater Kashmir, Superintendent of Police Shopian Shahid Mehraj said that four persons have been booked under Act in the district. “We have executed warrants issued against them,” he said.
 Sources told Greater Kashmir that Mufti Wajib, Farooq Ahmed, Ayaz Ahmed and Shiraz have been booked under PSA and sent to Kathua jail.
 The state government on Saturday informed that 64- civilians have been booked under PSA during ongoing unrest while 22 were booked under the Act since January this year.
