Parents appeal DSEK on school bus issue

Srinagar, Oct 10: The parents of students studying in private schools in the City have said the schools were charging bus fee for the entire period of the unrest during which the institutions remained closed for around three months.
 A delegation of parents told Greater Kashmir that it was injustice to pay the fee for the entire period.
 They added that the school authorities weren’t allowing the children to enter classrooms unless the bus fee is paid. 
 “We understand that the schools might have to pay the driver’s salary and some bank debt but they should waive off the petrol charges,” said a parent.
 The complainants appealed the Directorate of School Education Kashmir to look into the matter and get it sorted out at an earliest.
