Daga Kadal bears slum conditions

WE THE SRINAGARITES

WE the residents of Daga Kadal,Lal Bazar, Srinagar are living in utter slum conditions.
There are no proper roads, no drainage, no civic amenities except for water. For the past near three decades there has been no work on roads while a few drains that were constructed have been left incomplete.
We have  repeatedly being assured by successive governments for last 20 years that “after elections surely your problems will be solved”.
But no one has proved to be honest and truthful.
Sometime back the local MLA promised  to issue a few lakh rupees to area for developmental works. But that too remains a promise.
Somebody come to our help, if the government truly exists for people.
