BSNL launches special recruitment drive for PWDs

Jammu, Oct 13: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India’s largest integrated telecom service provider has launched a Special Drive for Recruitment of Junior Telecom Officers (JTOs) from persons with disabilities (PWDs).
 With this special drive, BSNL plans to fill up close to 213 vacancies in different streams like Telecom, Civil and Electrical, it said in a statement.
 Speaking on the Special Recruitment Drive, Gopal Das, Chairman & Managing Director, BSNL said: “BSNL has always been an equal opportunity employer and has recruited employees from across various social strata, women and persons with disabilities also are treated at par in BSNL.”
 The recruitment will be through an open competitive examination.
 BSNL comprises of 27 Recruitment Circles and these circles are in the process of filling up of backlog vacancies reserved for PWD.
