Shujaat Bukhari nominated SAMC member
Srinagar, Oct 13: Kashmiri journalist Shujaat Bukhari has been nominated as the member of South Asia Media Commission (SAMC), a media body of South Asian Association For Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries, a SAMC spokesman said.
Bukhari has been associated with The Hindu for past many years and is based in Srinagar. He along with journalists Kumar Ketkar and K K Katyal were nominated as SAMC members recently. Several other media personalities have been inducted in the restructured set up of the media body
