Relax limit
This refers to the advertisement which appeared in various dailies of J&K with regard to the recruitment in J&K Bank for the positions of Banking Associate, in which the age group has been set between 18-30 years. In the recently published Job advertisement in J&K Grameen Bank, the maximum age limit has been put as 26 years. As we know the conditions of the Kashmir valley where there are very less options in any other sector and J&K bank is the only employer other than the government. Many youth have crossed the age of 30 and are unemployed or they have lost jobs in private sector in the present turmoil. Hence it has created lots of problems for us, as many of us are the bread earners for our families. Therefore our appeal goes to the Chief Minister of J&K and Chairman of JK-Bank to kindly intervene in this matter so that the age limit for the positions should be enhanced to the age which J&K govt. has set for the recruitment i.e 37 yrs. I am sure it will benefit many unemployed youth who have crossed the age group of 30 years.
