Qazi Bagh water woes
WE THE SRINAGARITES
We the residents of Qazi Bagh, Rawal Pora have been requesting the authorities to see what is wrong with the water supply to our area. Ours is a miserable plight. We have to use motors to draw water into even the first floor of our houses.
This is the situation all the 24 hours a day. Our electricity invoices are swelling because of the continuous use of motors for pumping water. The situation has aggravated more after some commercial establishments nearby were given connection from our line.
The PHE officials had informed us that they had approved the change of old pipes to ensure regular water supply to the area. But it has not been done so far. We request the PHE officials to look into the matter.
