Unfortunate decision
This refers to announcement of interlocutors for Kashmir by the central government. Unfortunately, New Delhi has once again failed to diagnose the Kashmir problem and provide the necessary medication for the same. It hasn’t done any good to cure the problem by announcing apolitical persons as the interlocutors. It seems that Delhi wants to solve the administrative and economic problems of Jammu and Kashmir when the problem is entirely political. The all party delegation from India met all shades of opinion in Jammu and Kashmir. They got a clear idea of what Kashmiris want. But New Delhi is just buying time by announcing half-hearted measures on Kashmir.
