Prof Irshad Hamal takes over as VC BGSBU
Rajouri, Oct 16: Prof. Irshad Ahmad Hamal in Saturday formally took over as the Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri relieving the founder Vice- Chancellor, Masud Chaudhary.
After taking over, Prof Hamal described Chaudhary as a man of substance who through his untiring effort, brought the University to its present distinct.
Lauding the appointment of Prof Hamal, the outgoing Vice-Chancellor expressed the hope that his successor would fix new benchmarks for the university and will steer BGSBU to a position of reckoning.
He said that Prof Hamal is not new to the University as he has already spent some precious time here as Dean Academic Affairs. Now is the time for him to enhance his contribution.
