Dachigam Park
This refers to news regarding two leopards that have been kept in Dachigam Park. I was shocked when I saw the condition of these two leopards. On one side Save Tiger initiative has been taken throughout India, on the other side it seems that we are waiting when these two leopards will die and we are relieved of the burden. These two leopards have grown physically too weak especially female leopard. Area of the said park is in miles but space meant for two leopards are in Marlas. Why confine them to limits. It seems that wild Animal Department is only organizing seminars but practically they are doing nothing. Nobody is allowed to enter Dachigam Park, as lots of formalities are to be filled up before entering. The concerned department should charge some entry fee as may be deemed fit. So that the general masses may visit the said park easily.
