Census ‘forgets’ Lal Bazar colony

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Oct 18: The Census officials seem to have skipped Omar Colony, Lal Bazar in their job. With this being the state of the head counting in the summer capital, the census elsewhere can only be imagined.
The residents of Omar Colony said they were yet to undergo census even though the process, as per the officials, has almost been completed.
“Nobody from the census has visited our locality till date. This is truly a sorry state of the affairs and seems to a part of a big conspiracy against Kashmiris,” the locals said.
Pertinently, earlier similar complaints had popped in from Hyderpora area after which the concerned agency said the ongoing unrest had hindered the census.
Lal Bazar residents have come up with the latest complaint.
