Resign now
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed condolence over the killing of 109 civilians in past three months in the Valley by police and paramilitary CRPF. He said their “sacrifices” will not go waste and should benefit the state to embark on a new era of peace. “I am pained over the killings of 109 civilians in the Valley. I feel these innocent souls belonged to me and I belonged to them. Engineer Rashid is also singing the same song, and protested against the killing of 109 people in the last three months. Mehbooba walk out of the Legislative Assembly, along with her party MLAs including PDP patron Mufti Sayeed, the party chief Mehbooba Mufti in her 30 minute response to the obituary reference spoke with empathy over the innocent killings and the hardships faced by people in the Valley during the 3-month long unrest. Mehbooba terming them as martyrs. Other leaders are not the exception, because they are political leaders and will not miss any chance to shed the crocodile tears. However everybody knows what they want to gain from these emotional statements. If they really mean it, why they do not stop going to assembly and come on the roads like others Kashmiris. Why not resign from their posts?
