Sad news
This refers to the police crackdown on Facebook users. How can they do it? It is ridiculous that they have recently detained a youth from Nishat for “inciting violence” on Facebook. Police is killing the protesters on the streets. Now it is targeting the Facebook users. Where shall the people go now? The SMS service has already been banned. Mobiles in north Kashmir have been jammed. The state government seems to be afraid of everything now. Every now and then it is giving an impression that there is a terrible governance deficit in Jammu and Kashmir, as rightly acknowledged by the central government. In the light of that, the change of guard has become imperative. State is now acting like a child. Countering Geelani’s calls with curfew and targeting e-protesters.
