Coal India public offer

Srinagar, Oct 19: Entering the capital market, Coal India Limited has come up with Public Offer of 631,636,440 equity shares at a price band ranging between Rs 225 and Rs. 245 per share.
 The offer which opened for subscription on Monday shall close tomorrow for QIBs and on October 21 for retail and non-institutional bidders (including eligible employees bidding under the employee reservation portion).
 The offer, according to a statement the company faxed to Greater Kashmir, comprises a Net Offer to Public of 568,472,796 equity shares while 63,163,644 equity shares will be reserved for subscription by eligible employees.
 The offer shall constitute 10 per cent of the post offer paid-up equity share capital of the company and the Net Offer shall constitute 9 per cent of the post offer paid-up equity share capital of our company. The minimum bid lot has been fixed at 25 equity shares.
 The Selling Shareholder (government of India), in consultation with the Book Running Lead Managers, has fixed the Price Band between Rs. 225 and Rs. 245 per Equity Share for the IPO.
 Meanwhile, State-run Coal India (CIL) initial public offer (IPO) was fully covered on Tuesday, the second day of the offer, stock exchange data showed.
