No appearance

This refers to the news “Omar’s public appearance in Srinagar.” I was a witness to the commissioning of the Jawahar Nagar receiving station from a distance. Except the National Conference workers, nobody participated in the function, which has been shockingly described as the “public appearance by Omar.” Omar must address the people in the heart of the city if he means business. He must go to the families who lost their near ones in the past five months. I am sure he would again meet the hostile crowd as he did at the SK Institute of Medical Sciences Soura, in August.
