Safe passage

This refers to the upcoming Board and Kashmir University examinations. The students should be provided adequate transport facility on various routes so that they reach their examination centres in time. At the same time, the state government must ensure that the police or CRPF doesn’t harass the students while they proceed for examinations. Students must appear in the examinations without any hassles. The Hurriyat leadership should also make a passionate appeal to the stone pelters to give safe passage to the vehicles carrying students. Let’s not politicize education. Students are already suffering in absence of requisite infrastructure in the schools and colleges. They can’t appear in the examinations in harsh winter conditions. So we must ensure that they sit in the exam halls in time. This will ensure timely declaration of results.
