Shahr-Khaas traders meet JK Bank officials

Srinagar, Oct 20: The All Kashmir Traders Federation Shahr-e-Khas on Wednesday called on senior officers of JK Bank and apprised them of the problems being faced by the old City traders.
 During a meeting with the JK Bank’s officers at Zaina Kadal, the Federation’s President Nazir Ahmad Shah, General Secretary, Omar Gani and Farooq Nehvi briefed them about the traders’ problems including “waiver of interest on load owing to ongoing situation and charging of Rs 50 for transfer cheques.”
  They also demanded establishment of model bank branches in the Shahr-e-Khaas.  
 The JK Bank delegation comprised of Abdul Majeed Mir, Abdul Hamid Banday, Muhammad Younis Patoo and Branch Manager Asrar Ahmad. They assured the Federation to consider the demands.
 The Federation also appealed the Chief Minister to expedite the process of road widening in Zaina Kadal saying it will be beneficial for trade in the locality
