‘Declare Maharaja Gulab Singh's b'day as state holiday’

Jammu, Oct 21: The state unit of Youth Congress today demanded that birthday of Maharaja Gulab Singh should be declared as a state holiday.
"We demand that the birthday of great Maharaja Gulab Singh be declared as a state holiday. He was a great king who strengthened Jammu and Kashmir the most during his rule," JKPYC senior
Vice-President R S Pathania told reporters on the occasion of his 219th birth anniversary.
