3 CRPF men injured in Varmul

Varmul/Srinagar Oct 23: Three CRPF men were injured in the clashes which broke out at Cement Bridge in old town Varmul in north Kashmir.
Witnesses said youth poured onto streets and staged pro-freedom protests. A huge contingent of police and CRPF appeared on the spot and used force to quell the protesters, who retaliated with stones triggering clashes in which at least three troopers were wounded.
Meanwhile, authorities today lifted curfew from entire Valley even as Hurriyat Conference had called for a strike today.
