Traders condemn thrashing

Srinagar: The traders of Hyderpora-Pirbagh stretch have condemned the thrashing of a local poultry dealer, Aijaz Ahmed allegedly by armed police personnel last week.
The traders said Aijaz was getting his shop repaired when cops allegedly went berserk and beat him ruthlessly.
“Stone pelting had occurred in some other area and he was victimized.”
