Trapped miners

This refers to the news titled “Chile's 33 trapped miners rescued” (GK 15/10/2010). All praise to Chile Government that did a commendable job and rescued miners. Extreme engineering was used and help of NASA engineers was sought to evacuate the trapped miners. A capsule was inserted 2050 feet deep down the ground. It took almost an hour to evacuate a single miner trapped inside. It was a marathon effort and lasted for 68 days. Contrary to this, human live is not valued in Kashmir. In the past five months, hundreds of civilians were killed. Nobody raised his voice against the civilian killings. The world watched all the bloodshed as a mute spectator.
