171 kanals identified for Batapora colony

Srinagar, Oct 28: A high level team of ministers constituted by the Chief Minister for identifying land for the displaced people due to the different developmental and beautification projects of Srinagar today visited Batapora in Zakoora.
The team comprising Finance Minister, Minister for Rural Development, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Minister for Health and Floriculture, Sham Lal Sharma along with Commissioner Secretary, PWD, Navin Agarwal, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Asgar Samoon, District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo, Chief Engineer, R&B, Nazir Ahmad, SE Circle Road, Mushtaq Ahmad, Director Horticulture and other senior officers accompanied the team.
The team of Ministers while interacting with the officers dwelt on the different aspects of providing the State of Art living facilities to the people who will be provided plots for constructing their houses.
It is pertinent to mention that the land measuring 171 kanals has been declared fit by the concerned agencies for developing a housing colony.
