Court extends Masrat’s remand

Srinagar: A local court has extended by 3-days the police remand of Hurriyat Conference (G) general secretary Masrat Alam Bhat.
 Police presented Masrat for seeking his remand before the court of a sub-registrar here on Friday. Subsequently, court extended his remand from Oct 29 to Nov 1.

Woman hurt in blaze
Srinagar: A woman was hurt when fire broke out in the tin roofed single storied house of Ghulam Rasool Najar son of Abdul Aziz Najar of Chek-e-Samad Rather, Kulgam causing damage to the structure.
 According to police, the wounded has been identified as Saja wife of Ghulam Rasool.
