Insensitive Govt

This refers to the news “Govt drags cardiologist, PDP leaders to court.” At a time when the state government, led by Omar Abdullah, should concentrate on addressing the crisis in Kashmir, it is settling political scores with the opposition. This shows government’s insensitive attitude toward the plight of the common man. It has become a habit with National Conference government to play to revenge politics. They are doing it with the Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani and also with doctors, teachers, students and others. If the state government means business, it must shun this attitude of behaving in a childish manner.
