Islamabad town without water
MALIK ABDUS SALAM
Islamabad, Oct 3: The people of Islamabad Town are facing immense problems due to the shortage of water from the last two days.
The aggrieved residents told Greater Kashmir that the PHE department allegedly stopped their water supply without prior announcement. “Due to curfew, we can’t even move out of our houses to fetch water,” they said.
When contacted the concerned officials said the water supply had been hampered due to the damage in some pipe. “We acknowledged the peoples’ problems and will be replacing the pipes at an earliest,” they said.
