Divisional Commissioner reviews movement of school buses’

Srinagar, Oct 8: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar H Samoon convened a meeting of officers of divisional administration and representatives of management of private schools to ensure safe and smooth movement of buses carrying children.
 He directed the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Srinagar to ensure safe movement of the school buses and asked them to pass on appropriate instructions to the zonal SPs and SHOs.
 He also directed General Manager SRTC to get wire meshes installed on the school buses moving on vulnerable routes within a week’s time to ensure safety of the children.
