Sacking Drabu
This refers to news “Haseeb Drabu resigns, says no regrets” in Greater Kashmir. The news has shocked not only the depositors but public in general. Asking the top-notch economist to resign at this critical juncture, when the valley is passing through a phase of uncertainty, would definitely affect the stability and financial health of the bank. Just after his resignation, the value of shares of J&K bank has gone down. This shows that the strength and stability this bank had carried with the continuance of Dr. Haseeb Drabu as its CEO. I don’t know Dr Drabu personally, but being the head of the J&K bank, his contribution towards its expansion and strengthening cannot be ignored.
