Kashmir Unrest

This refers to the unrest kashmir. India's  approach  towards Kashmir issue was always  contrary to Gandhiji's principles - both in theory and in practice. Regarding democracy M K Gandhi says, “to strengthen the roots of democracy is not possible if we are not prepared to hear the other side”. And “we shut the doors of reason when we refuse to listen to our opponents or having listened, make fun of them”, if we analyse the judicious quote by the father of nation, we find its relevance in the present scenario of the J&K state. The case is repeated here. Gandhi would have outrightly rejected Indian policy towards Kashmir. In his historic visit to this unfortunate state, in August 1947, he was asked by a journalist about the possible future of the state and he replied “it would be decided by the will of the people of the concerned state. Then why India is denying the same for the future of kashmir when their Father of nation has once accepted it. Is not india playing the Machiavellain politics over Kashmir issue, sending More troops to kill the innocent Kashmiris.
