This refers to the news 'JK to have first Open School after Eid' (GK 06-09-10). There is a mushroom growth of schools in every part of the state but desired goals are not achieved due to lack of dedication on the part of teachers and poor infrastructure of schools. Instead of opening new ones for reserved children, the government should uplift the infrastructure of the already established ones. If the authorities are serious to 'install' these schools, they should cover rural areas in the initial phase for obvious reasons.
