Zainakote unit holders hold meet on present crisis

Srinagar, Sept 10: The industrial fraternity of IE Zainakote here today said the crisis in Kashmir, both of 2008 and current, had its roots in the political problem.
The industrialists at a meeting in the IE said the political turbulence in Kashmir, which awaited resolution for the last 63 years, had badly impinged upon its economy.
“Industries are defunct, vital sectors of the economy have suffered the biggest jolt,” the unit holders said.
The fraternity on the occasion constituted a core group tasked to make effective measures to “enlighten the Indian masses about the actual ground situation in the Valley.”
The meeting stressed that the people of India need to be provided with an impartial account of situation in Kashmir.
