OIC condemns Kashmir killings
Jeddah: New Delhi needs to take immediate steps to bring the violence in Kashmir to an end, the secretary-general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference said.
OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, in a statement from his spokesman's office, offered his condolences to those who died during the latest violence in Kashmir.
"While strongly condemning the excessive use of force against the Kashmiri people, the secretary-general reiterated his previous calls on the Indian government to take immediate steps to end violence against innocent Kashmiri people in Kashmir," the statement read.
