Denying justice

As the current unrest enters its third month, it has been for the last three consecutive years that the summer months have seen the maximum bloodshed. Amarnath land row, Shopian rape and murder case and now Quit Kashmir movement. Among the three agitations, Amarnath land row reached its logical conclusion and people got a relief when the land order was revoked. It gave the people hope that a genuine agitation can yield results. But surprisingly no justice was delivered in Shopian case. The reason is very clear that politicians want to play with the sentiments of the people. If we continue to politicize crimes against the society, the law cannot take its course. Justice will always be denied.
