Dhobi Mohalla road trouble
WE THE SRINAGARITES
A road with inadequate width to accommodate round the clock heavy vehicular rush passing through Dhobi Mohalla Batamallo connecting with the National High Way Bypass Tangpora has put the inhabitants residing on either side of it in particular, and pedestrians in general to immense inconvenience.
On this road, there is one short narrow link road passing through Khadi Mill connecting New Colony Batamallo on which two private educational Institutions are located. Due to traffic rush, the schoolchildren do suffer badly.
Sometime ago the government is learnt to have planned to widen the roads to overcome traffic rush but till now, nothing concrete has been done at ground level. We the residents hope that somebody comes to our rescue and takes up the much awaited road project.
