Fulfill Geelani’s conditions: JKPM to GoI

Jammu, Sept 1: Supporting the five conditions set by Hurriyat (G) chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani for reviewing the ongoing agitation, J&K People’s Movement has urged the Government of India to fulfill these if it was sincere for the resolution of Kashmir issue.
Addressing a meeting at Rajouri, its Hurriyat leader and JKPM Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Mir said “India will have to end the oppression in Kashmir if it wants APHC leadership to review the current wave of mass agitations.”
Expressing doubts about the dialogue offer made by the home minister, Mir asked what was wrong in accepting J&K as a dispute. He said the state was an internationally accepted dispute and India had agreed to it in principal. “Whenever Kashmiris take to streets to draw the attention of the world community about their birth right, India starts playing the dialogue drama with the Kashmiri leadership. But as soon as normalcy returns to Valley the same leadership representing the wishes and aspirations of the people becomes irrelevant for India,” he added.
