Soz calls on Guv, discusses prevailing situation

Srinagar, Sept 19: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief and former union minister
Prof Saifuddin Soz today called on the governor NN Vohra, here on Sunday, to discuss the prevailing situation in the state.
“Soz met governor Sunday morning and held detailed deliberations with regard to the current situation across the state and particularly in Valley”, sources close to Soz said adding that the visit of All Party Delegation (APD) to the state also came for discussion.
Though the exact details of the meeting were not know, sources claimed that Soz also discussed his party’s stand on the issue and reiterated the commitment that his part would give all out support to the coalition government for restoration of peace and normalcy in the state.
Prof Soz also took up various  matters with the state administration  including  movement of truck loads of fruit from various parts of Kashmir valley  to Jammu and onwards without  allowing any encumbrances.
Prof. Soz suggested to the State administration that convoys  of truck  carrying  fruit  from  Kashmir must be allowed to move uninterrupted from  4, O clock  in the morning till late in the night.
He further urged  the state administration to ensure  safe passage to  fruit – laden trucks on the National High Way to Jammu  and on wards.
Prof. Soz, as per a statement issued to the press, has been assured  that  free  movement of truck  loads  of   fruit will be ensured  and all necessary safety measures will  also be taken.
