Act now
The all-party delegation has just concluded its visit to Kashmir. Unless something concrete comes out of it, it shall be deemed as a futile exercise. The delegation met some people in Tangmarg and also in the SMHS hospital, where people raised pro-freedom slogans. The delegation has been informed about the real issues in Kashmir, including the demand for Aazadi. Now it is the moral responsibility of India to take a decision in the light of what people of Kashmir feel. I really like the way they went to meet the separatists who are an important part of the Kashmir’s freedom struggle. The political leaders in Delhi must immediately sit together and find ways and means to address the Kashmir issue politically. Now Delhi has no excuse whatsoever with regard to Kashmir crisis. People have themselves spoken to the delegation, which was headed by no less than the Home Minster of India, P Chidambaram.
