Sagam, Hangul Gund, Tangpava, Nagam, Naroo – people harassed
This refers to the terror unleashed by police and CRPF on the innocent Kashmiris. This is the time when everyone suffers and everyone cries for justice. What we normally feel that events happening elsewhere are still reported. But what happens in villages goes unnoticed for we don't have an access to any media. We only know what the hell is being wreaked on us. In some village of South Kashmir namely Sagam, Hangul Gund, Tangpava, Nagam and Naroo people are facing the worst at the hands of Kashmir police and CRPF. It's been so tough for us to mobilise any media about the atrocities we are facing. It's an agonizing experience to see our houses being ransacked by the men in uniform. The other day Aashiq Hussain Naikoo, employee of PHE department and resident of Nagam was beaten black and blue. He got his arm fractured and was operated upon in Bone and Joint hospital Barzullah. Likewise so many houses are being badly damaged and that is becoming a routine. There is no accountability. We fervently appeal to the authorities at the helm to make it sure that we are not harmed. It's good to maintain law and order, but while doing that innocent people must not be harmed.
