Probe it
This refers to the violence on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. Government must probe the matter or else take responsibility of whatever happened that day. A report in The Indian Express said a National Conference activist was spearheading protests in Tangmarg and he has been booked. The government must tell public who burnt the power development department building at Lal Chowk. There are vested interests who are bent upon tarnishing the image of separatist leaders in Kashmir. That is why they always keep blaming the separatist leaders for anything wrong that takes place in Kashmir. Government remembers hartals but forgets curfew. They remember stone pelting by youth, but forget that forces have killed 109 civilians in the past four months. Charity begins at home. Let government set its house in order before blaming the separatists who have been repeatedly calling for end to violence.
