Mehjoor Nagar protests police ‘highhandedness’

Residents of Mehjoor Nagar on Tuesday staged protest demonstrations –accusing the police of ransacking a particular house in the area. The residents alleged that the cops intentionally targeted the house and damaged two vehicles parked there. Thereafter, the locals said, the cops attacked a vegetable shop in the vicinity. The residents sought a probe into “unprovoked attack”
