Rainawari complains of dog menace
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Sep 28: The residents of Rainawari in Shahr-e-Khaas have said the dog population in the area has grown considerably in the past few months.
“Presumably the dogs from other areas have shifted to our locality during the ongoing unrest,” the residents said.
They said some of the locals were attacked by the canines in the past few days.
Given the frequent curfews in the area, the residents said, it was mostly in the evenings that they were allowed to move out their homes.
“But the dog fear made it difficult for us to venture out,” they said.
They appealed the authorities to look into the matter.
