Srinagar, Sept 2: The state government on Thursday said September 3 would be observed as holiday on account of the Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
An order issued by the GAD said in partial modification of an earlier government order, it is hereby ordered that September 3 shall be a holiday on account of the Jumat-ul-Vida.
Meanwhile, according to a spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, all branches and offices of the J&K Bank will remain closed on Friday on account of Jumat-ul-Vida.
