NC promoting Ikhwan: PDP

Srinagar, Sept 2: Peoples Democratic Party has said while the state is witnessing a total administrative collapse and Kashmir valley reeling under its worst humanitarian crisis, the ruling National Conference has crossed its own record of anti-people activities.
In a statement here, senior leaders and legislators of the party including Maulvi Iftikhar Hussein Ansari, Muhammad Dilawar Mir, AR Veeri and Murtaza Khan said NC had stooped to new levels of political degradation by virtually joining the ranks of Ikhwanis. They said NC could now safely be called ‘Naabdi Conference’ as it was openly promoting the Ikhwan culture in Kashmir.
The leaders said things had come to such a pass that a notorious character of Sonawari made a televised address to youth offering them jobs to overcome the present situation. Qasim Khar made it clear that the jobs he was offering were from the government and even some people acknowledged publicly joining him. It depicts complete anarchy or connivance or both, the leaders said.
They maintained that NC having abdicated its responsibilities was known to everybody but it is shocking that the party has outsourced recruitment in government departments also to the Ikhwanis if the announcement of Khar is taken on its face value.
