4 held for narcotics trafficking

Srinagar, Sept 29: The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon on Wednesday detained four persons under anti-narcotics Act and sent them to Central Jail here for one year imprisonment.
 According to an official communiqué, the accused are:
 Wali Muhammad Bhat of Reshipora, Awantipore (Pulwama), Ghulam Muhammad Bhat of Reshipora Ullar Tehsil Awantipore, Shabir Ahmed Parray of Charsoo, Katipora Awantipore and Mukhtar Ahmed Bhat of Kunjipora Pulwama.
 “The accused were involved in illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and Superintendent of Police Awantipore produced evidence against them,” the communiqué said.
