Flights operate smoothly: Govt
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Sept 3: According to an official spokesman, flights operated ‘hassle free’ from Awantipora airport as per schedule Friday. “The administration had put all the arrangements in place to facilitate the passengers,” the spokesman said.
According to the spokesman, passengers are checked in at Srinagar Airport and transported to Awantipora airport for boarding in the flights to different destinations.
Meanwhile, the spokesman said that no passenger should directly report at Awantipora airport as checking of luggage and frisking of passengers has to be necessarily carried out at Srinagar Airport.
